The news sinking in this morning that West Brom striker Lee Hughes has been jailed for 6 years after being found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving. Still, given that 'Yosser' has a face only a desperately perverted old lag could love, I'm sure there'll be someone awaiting him behind bars with 'a nice chuckle' to cheer him up.
Ominously, my own Hammers have their own legal problems with the shock news that our Czech hardman defender 'Super' Tomas Repka has been arrested following allegations of 'harassment' against a '46-year-old man from the Hornchurch area'. I've got a worrying feeling we haven't heard the last of this story.
In happier news, Pitchfork have published the most in-depth interview with those fabulous Fiery Furnaces yet.
