You Know This Much About My Life (to fade)
Apologies for the gap in transmission, not my fault this time, honest guv. You can thank the idiot British Gas workmen who decided to dig a hole right outside my house and helpfully severed my cable connection, taking down my landline, internet access and TV in the process. So if you see Sid, tell him he's a fuckwit and he owes me big time.
Meanwhile, in my next life, I don't want to have to bother with all that breathing, drinking, eating, loving and working malarkey. I just want my retina scorched with an endless loop of C4's trailer for their 'network premiere' of 'Save The Last Dance' just at the point where Julia Stiles feistily snaps 'You know this much about my life!' juxtaposed with a bit of attitudinal thumb/forefinger action.
Hopefully, I'll be putting some proper posts up here over the next few days, including the latest fruitiness of the Linkdump Truck's labours; album/book review compendiums and my brief thoughts on BigBro5. Be scared, chickens.
'You know this much about my life!'
Today's thought for the day comes from Erlend Oye of Kings Of Convenience from this Guardian interview. "I haven't read a single book all year...and the only film I saw, I didn't like it at all. Your life can be like a book or a film. I was really eager to search for the cinematic in everyday situations."
'You know this much about my life!'
OK, I'll shut up now.
