Matt Finish Puts Gloss On West Ham's SeasonNews Just In - Football Just Became Vaguely Interesting Again

I know that some have been enquiring about the whereabouts of the annual review of the football/soccer/whatever season but I've got some news for you part-time Premiership pansies, the season's not blimmin' well over yet, as demonstrated last night by my beloved West Ham demolishing Ipswich Town two goals to nil to get into the Div One play-off final against Iain Dowie's Crystal Palace.

I suppose it is about time though I congratulated Arseblogger; our Danish correspondent John Fogde, my brother and other assorted random Gooners who visit this page searching for cheap thrills and the exact wherabouts of Helen Chamberlain's Torquay United tattoo, on their team's unique achievement of going through the entire Premiership season undefeated. Never again in my lifetime, but that's probably not saying a lot at my time of life. As for my pre-season declaration that if Kolo Toure was an international-class centre half my arse was my elbow...let's just say I'm not sitting too comfortably just at present. I did correctly predict two of three relegated sides for the third season running, so those pitiful Leeds and Leicester fans can't say they weren't warned. For the second season running, Fulham fucked things up by staying up, this time at the expense of Wolves. Who will the finger of doom be pointing at in August? Let's hope it's not Palace, eh?
