Cheerfully ignoring all evidence to the contrary, the British phonographic industry has decided that what the music business needs now is more expensive CDs, so after this week's legal shenanigans, today represents the last day that readers in the UK and Ireland can get compact discs at discount prices from CD-Wow (eg. 'Tasty' by Kelis at £7.99 postage paid; Dido's 'Life For Rent' at £6.99).
