Big Brother 4 eviction night update - thanks to the BBC for the picture (left) from the biggest miscarriage of justice since...well, since my beloved Hammers got relegated.

There'll be a great many of course who can't wait to see the back of that big, loud, shrieking, attention-seeking, manipulative wannabe. But sadly for them, Davina McCall will be back next week compering eviction night as normal. As for Anouska, there was plenty of support for her in the crowd, if very little in her dress, as she emerged from the house. She handled eviction better than most, not hiding her disappointment but keeping her dignity as well as some perspective. She can be in our gang anytime.

Of course, this means a reprieve for IT boffin Jon who now should prove the main entertainment in the house. I'm warming to his odd ways as the days go by, and now he's starting to remind me of the mad professor from Futurama. Having seen off Anouska, let's hope he gets an extended stay in the house while some of the dullards get culled. Some hope, sadly.
