Backchat - Blarney Edition
Dunno bout you but this week between the end of the footie season and the beginning of Big Brother 4 may not actually be the longest week of the year, but it certainly seems it. With it being so early in pre-season it's probably still post-season, there's only so much time you can spend on pointless transfer speculation, and a certain young man's mind has drifted back to his footloose and fancy-free days out on the town in Dublin, when it was more than just the blarneystone he was kissing. I'll let Arseblogger continue with the drooling he normally reserves for a mazy Thierry Henry dribble -
'I'm not normally one for your band reviews - coz I don't know most of them to be honest, but Maria McKee. She's something else.
She used to live in Dublin you know, she spent a good few years in Ireland actually, and used to play there a bit obviously. Went to see her loads of times, just thinking of her singing live makes the hair on the back of my neck stick up. She's fab - and I once got a kiss off her too in the Baggot Inn when Adam Clayton's young brother's band were playing one night. I think she was very drunk, I know I was, but it was very nice to kiss a real star ;o)'
So any more readers ever kissed a celebrity in the baggot? Replies to the usual address. The full slobbering, shameful details will be required, obviously.
