According to this week's NME (but not considered important enough for their website newspages) Parallax View favourite Mahjula Bah-Kamara has left nascent rock outfit the hiss after 'fraught and emotional' recording sessions with Oasis producer Owen Morris. I liked Mahjula's attitude and I think she added to their presence on stage (she really seemed to be enjoying what she was doing) so I'm not sure her replacement by 'ex-model' Johnny Kral is such a good move. Let's hope I'm wrong, I wouldn't want to see the group descend to dadrock dullness...

But does this mean that having a girl bass player is now so last season?
