It never raindrops but it pours. This is almost Poltergeist-spooky. The third major player behind Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid has bit the dust in as many weeks. Following on from director George Roy Hill and cinematographer Conrad L Hall, the film's producer Paul Monash has died aged 85. Monash also produced Carrie, wrote/produced the Robert Mitchum classic The Friends Of Eddie Coyle and was the brains behind the 80s sci-fi series V.

I know Hill, Hall and Monash were all elderly gentlemen and maybe these things come in threes, but if I were Paul Newman or Robert Redford I'd be taking out extra health insurance all the same.
