Million Dead: the four horsemen (and women) of the post-hardcore apocalypse?Too literate to be garage rawk, too purposeful in their anger to be nu metal, yet noisy and irritable enough to really annoy your neighbours, bands like Million Dead don't come along very often, so when they do, we should cherish them. Which is why their debut record Smiling At Strangers In Trains gets the nod to be this week's Parallax View Single Of The Week, being a potent molotov cocktail of furious guitars and lyrics poetic in their desperation.
