This week's Single of the Week here at Parallax View is Set it Off by Peaches. It's a seductive slab of hypnotic electropop, fun to dance to and great to sing along with, performed by a Canadian chanteuse with a refreshing, genuinely not-giving-a-fuck attitude. The CD single also includes a Kid 606 remix of 'Fuck The Pain Away' (a tune familiar to those of you who've got '2 Many DJs' by Soulwax) and the sleazy video which literally puts hairs on the singer's chest. The Top 10 beckons and I for one can't wait to see her on TOTP.
