Forget Moby's latest album (oh, you already have) this is the ultimate coffeetable album this spring, a classy fusion of electronica, alt.rock and modern classical music featuring guest vocal turns from Michael Stipe, The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne and Coldplay's Chris Martin amongst others. Add in some of the best drum sounds on a record since the heady days of PiL and you have a sombre, challenging, adventurous album which is nonetheless accessible, effective and stirring. The two tracks on which Chris Martin sing, Where Is My Boy? and Your Love Means Everything Part 2 particularly stand out as amongst the most powerful tunes released this year thus far.
