The shortlist for the 2002 Turner Prize has been revealed. I'm not too familiar with the works of Fiona Banner, Liam Gillick, Keith Tyson and Catherine Yass but at first glance they seem a bit more worthy of interest than last year's mob. Doesn't seem to be too much there in the way of controversy, aside from one piece where Banner has filmed herself reading pornography.
