Sorry for no updates yesterday. Started drinking at 9.30am in a pub yesterday morning to watch England's disappointing 1-1 draw with Sweden and basically just didn't stop until I fell asleep at approximately 9pm. So it was a day completely without Big Brother which, as you can imagine, was mildly distressing. Big Bro 3 is the best source of info and gossip on yesterday's action as it all started to kick off between fastidious model Alex and Geordie fireman Jonny about the latter's predilection for peeing in the communal shower. Into this maelstrom stepped Sophie (left) a leggy, brunette recruitment consultant who is 'looking for love'. It seems the programme's camaramen are already impressed as for the first time the live TV cameras at E4 were pointed towards the shower this morning when Sophie stepped in (relax boys, head and shoulders shot only pre-watershed).

While I don't necessarily condone pissing in a communal shower, prissypants Alex needs to 'lighten up'. If I was foolish enough to join such a programme I think I'd treat it in the same way as a Club 18-30 holiday and just join in with the flow. The whole point of the show as I see it is to prove how well you can get along with people under even the most trying conditions. There has to be some give and take, and being a hygiene Hitler and just generally such a joyless snob should earmark him for an early eviction. His self-righteousness and childish insistence on isolating himself from the unworthy puts him in the rather ridiculous situation of thinking this is Merry Xmas Mr Fucking Lawrence rather than a game show.

But at least Alex provides some eye candy for the girls and the gays, what possible justification is there for keeping Sandy in? His comments about Jonny being 'a monkey' and 'hanging from the trees' makes him just as much of an unbearable snob as Alex, without the aesthetic attributes. I absolutely insist he goes this week.
