It's certainly been a day of shocks as Italy, my pre-tournament tips were bundled out of the World Cup by co-hosts South Korea earlier today via a 'golden goal' in extra-time. The game was not without incident or controversy, particularly concerning Totti's sending-off, but in the final analysis, Italy have been deeply disappointing and never looked like justifying their status as one of the favourites to lift the trophy. It's now looking increasingly likely that the final will be between the winners of the England v Brazil game and Germany (not penalties again...please!)
