Apologies for the lack of updates over the last few days. I'm afraid that contrary to rumours I was not among those selected to join the Big Brother house and neither was I sent out to Tokyo as a last-minute reinforcement to Sven Goran Erickson's England midfield in the World Cup. Of course, the source of my blogging inactivity was instead the usual reason - beer, food and (the pursuit of) women. In other words, a stag weekend in Whitley Bay. Also as expected, I'm now tired, suffering from grim gutache and completely broke until payday. Feel my pain, readers. But only if you're a masochist.

I have lots to catch up with, and normal linkage service will resume, Blogger willing, from tomorrow.
