And so the Premiership season wrapped up at the weekend. Here's the final table -

Arsenal
Liverpool
Man Utd
Newcastle United
Leeds United
Chelsea
West Ham Utd
Aston Villa
Tottenham Hotspur
Blackburn Rovers
Southampton
Middlesbrough
Fulham
Charlton Athletic
Everton
Bolton Wanderers
Sunderland
Ipswich Town
Derby County
Leicester City

And so the Hammers rallied towards the end of the season to a more than respectable seventh place, two above the Tottscum and a full six places higher than I predicted when I did my pre-season projections. Well, I did get the top three right (albeit in the wrong order) and successfully predicted two of three sides to go down (Leicester and Derby) but Bolton spoilt it all by being quite good on occasion, leaving Ipswich to leap like lemmings from the previous season's dizzy heights of fifth into the fiscal abyss of the Nationwide.
