After much hesitation, rumination and cogitation, a positive solution to yesterday's conundrum (see below) has been found. Despite a valiant attempt to conquer its rival with an extra-time golden goal via the inclusion of the pulsating Josh Wink's Acid Dub Interpretation, Machine Says Yes by FC Kahuna has been pipped at the post for Parallax View Single of The Week by Fischerspooner's Emerge (expect it to perform like all my tippermost pop tips and go in at no.34 with a bullet while that nice Gareth Gates bags the number one slot).
'1976: I Feel Love. 1983: Blue Monday. 2002: Emerge'. Well, so reckon The Face (is that still going? is it any good again?). And in fact, they're not wrong. You could always have twice the fun by buying both records though, shop around down the high street and you can bag them both for a fiver if you're quick (ie. this week).
