Tweet. Oh my.Given the tragic recent losses of Aaliyah and Left-Eye, it's especially heartening to introduce a new female talent to the R'n'B scene. So it's time to meet Tweet, the latest protege of Missy 'Misdemeanour' Elliot and Timbaland, whose debut single 'Oops (Oh My)' was released in the UK this week. The record gives a sexy twist to the trademark stop/start Timbaland sound, the video establishes her as a sensational new star and the lyrics have caused a storm, being an apparent celebration of female masturbation.

Tweet looks set to be beaten to the Number One slot however by another debut single from a nascent female star, Kylie wannabe Holly Valance who is treading the same route from Neighbours to Top Of The Pops as Ms. Minogue. I'm less convinced of the artistic merits of 'Kiss Kiss' but the requisite 'hot' video complete with simulated nudity seems to be proving enough to set the cash tills ringing. Myself, I prefer to look at her wallpaper than listen to it.
