Paz and Move

If you caught Zwan performing 'Honestly' on CD-UK last weekend you're probably wondering who that crazy chica was playing bass and shaking her booty in Billy Corgan's new band and, more to the point, what was she on? Parallax View as always, is on the case.

Turns out it's Paz Lenchentin (pictured left) formerly of A Perfect Circle (nah, me neither) and who has also collaborated on the last two QOTSA albums. She already has a website dedicated to her and is the subject of online debate on whether she's hot or not. Hotter than chilli, I'd say.

Some of you may know I'm not exactly the greatest Billy Corgan fan in the world. In fact, I often felt that Smashing Pumpkins were one of the most over-rated bands on the planet. I'm still not totally convinced of the musical merits of his new project, but I have to say it's been a looooong time since I've seen an 'alternative band' having such a self-evident riot on live TV. It was hugely entertaining stuff.
