Updates are again going to be at best sporadic this week, although I do intend to keep the content here relatively fresh over the Xmas/New Year period, unlike those many bloggers who have, y'know, lives and things. Besides, something's gotta keep me away from the sherry as Myleene Klass still ain't returning my calls.
In the meantime, there seem to be more 'best of' lists around than ever this year. So this thread should come in useful as a handy digest. Never fear (as if you doubted it), I will be pronouncing my own favourite singles and albums of the year very shortly for no other reason than that I can.
But until then, here's my Top 10 movies of the year released in the UK.
1. Mulholland Drive (David Lynch)
2. Minority Report (Steven Spielberg)
3. Sex and Lucia (Julio Medem)
4. Bully (Larry Clark)
5. Insomnia (Christopher Nolan)
6. Monsoon Wedding (Mira Nair)
7. Monster's Ball (Marc Forster)
8. Spiderman (Sam Raimi)
9. 28 Days Later (Danny Boyle)
10.Panic Room (David Fincher)
It's official, then: it was a good year for films beginning with the letter M.
