I can't get worked up about 1 Love the NME/War Child compilation album. A bunch of old hits played by a selection of acts, many of whom are well past their peak themselves. I can think of better things to spend my money on.

One cover I heard this week that did impress me however was The Delgados' version of ELO's Mr. Blue Sky for their session on John Peel. Good to see a band use the format to relax and experiment rather than trundle out grey fascimiles of forthcoming album tracks.
