On advice from Nico I appear to have been getting spidering and cacheing a bit confused in all the excitement of the escalating Googlegate fiasco. Of course, I must make clear that I do not have the haxoring skills to get access to the sitelogs of the great and the good, but it is relatively easy to access the latest cached page of each site on Google, and my point was that certain sites have been cached within last few days while most other weblogs haven't been recached since early July.

That was all, really. Sorry to have caused a fuss. But it does seem to have created a bit of interest in what was otherwise a dull week.
